Our family pet, if you didn't already know, is a dog called Candy. She must be about 14 years old now and my parents have had her since she was a puppy.
Anyway, she went camping with us last weekend and really enjoyed it, she even went on a really long walk which we thought she wouldn't be able to do. On Thursday she was quite ill so my mum took her to the vets, and this weekend she went into the vets overnight for some tests. From the first test results it looks as though she is having kidney failure, but they will be doing more during the night.
Poor little thing. I can still remember when we first got her, she would curl up and go to sleep on my belly. I really hope she gets better, but I don't want her to suffer. I'm just glad that she was able to enjoy one last weekend of camping as she does love it.
