I got some really good news today. I have finally managed to pay off my student loan! I took the loan out to get me through my third year at university when I was studying for my microbiology degree. I've been paying back £24.50 a week for, what, 6 years now. So I'm now officially debt free with no loans, no balance on my credit card and no overdraft. Sweet!
